Open your mouth and blessings will come

This letter is going to be really short, but all is well in Chile. We had some good days this week. I got to drive up to Los Andes and San Felipe and Colina to do some errands and to do an interchange with a zone leader so that was fun and interesting. We´re trying to do lots of interchanges with the zone leaders to help spread the culture to all the missionaries that President wants them to talk with everyone and not lose a minute and just work like crazy so we´re doing exactly that. I don’t have a real letter this week so next week I’ll take more pictures and write a thoughtful letter. 

When I was serving in Dorsal, we taught the wife of a recent convert, Fabian. We got her to listen to us after her saying no to the missionaries for 3 years. I taught her with Elder Dussan and then she received the discussions from the next two Elders. Well, she was just recently baptized. It’s a really cool story. The story is in Spanish, so have fun translating!!

Yamilet conoció a los misioneros hace 4 años gracias a que su esposo Fabian(en ese tiempo eran pareja nomas) los contacto en la calle para que vinieran a expulsar unos fantasmas que había en su casa. Él fue muy receptivo pero Yamilet se mostró siempre reacia al evangelio, después de 3 años ellos se casaron para que Fabian pueda bautizarse, ella estaba en contra de eso también pero aceptó. 

Después de eso ella siguió recibiendo a los misioneros pero no les daba mucha importancia, tiempo después le empezó a tomar mas interés y empezó a buscar una respuesta para poder bautizarse pero no la recibía.

Cada vez que íbamos a su casa y le preguntábamos si había preguntado a Dios ella decía que sí pero tal vez lo hizo mal porque no recibió ninguna respuesta, ella recibía mucho apoyo del barrio, todos la conocían. Empezamos a hacer noches de hogar con los miembros pero seguía sin recibir su respuesta. En su pre entrevista propusimos hacer una oración de rodillas todos juntos y que ella la ofreciera, después de eso pudimos sentir muy fuerte el espíritu y con algunas preguntas ella se dio cuenta que ya había recibido su respuesta y decidió bautizarse este domingo.
